Zepp OS 3.5 and Above
Developers will use Zepp OS 3.5’s powerful API, which covers Bluetooth, network connectivity, canvas graphics, and various sensors (e.g., heart rate monitoring, Geolocation, and accelerometers), to build innovative applications.
Preview Zepp OS 4
A range of new APIs will be released by the end of the year, fully integrating AI, enabling developers to create smarter, more personalized apps. Developers who have submitted works on Zepp OS can sign up to participate in the Beta program and experience some new features first in the competition.

Note: For Smartwatch Connectivity, 2 Gold, 2 Silver, and 2 Bronze prizes will be awarded. For Sports & Wellness and Lifestyle & Games, 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 1 Bronze prize will be awarded in each category. If you don't want the T-Rex 3 device, you can discuss with the staff to replace it with other models of the same value (which can be watches that will be launched in the future).
Workout Extension Challenge:
Gold Prize: $50 prepaid VISA card.

How do I get started if I have no Zepp OS development experience?

- Follow Zepp OS documentation and start by creating Mini-programs or workout extensions based on the sample v3 template.
What if I don’t have an idea?
- Join the community (Discord -> #🤝looking-for-team channel) and discuss product design with experts to receive suggestions.
How do I test if I don’t have a smartwatch?
- It’s recommended to start testing with the simulator. Zepp Health staff can assist with testing.
Is team participation limited?
- There is no limit to team size or participation. Awards will be given per project. For example, suppose Team A, consisting of three members, submits an app and wins the Gold Award in the Smartwatch Connectivity category. In that case, the team will receive one Amazfit T-Rex3 and a $300 Prepaid VISA. The prize can be divided as needed, such as $100 each or $150/$150, so no one has to rely on a single person to manage the funds.
Can Workout extension projects participate in the mini-program challenge?
- Wokrout extensions are a type of Zepp OS mini-program where you can participate in the mini-program challenge but cannot win multiple awards.
Prize Distribution for Prepaid VISA Cards:
- The competition is global, and the Prepaid Visa cards can be used worldwide. However, the prizes will be converted, if necessary, into equivalent rewards based on the participant’s region. For instance, JD.com gift cards (京东 E 卡) will be issued in China.
